I found Locanda al Convento simply by poking around on Google maps looking for something close to the Venice airport since we would be returning a rental car and flying out the next morning. I still can't believe how lucky I was to stumble on this place. Dario is a great host, friendly and helpful. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The setting is peaceful and quiet. It was a night off for his restaurant, but Dario was more than helpful in suggesting some local dining options, and went so far as to make the dinner reservation for us. Dario must be a local favorite because the people at the restaurant knew who he is, and they treated us well, and the food was delicious. We like cats and there were at least three very friendly outdoor cats that made us welcome. We would definitely stay here again, and would try to schedule it for Wednesday - Sunday when his restaurant is open.

FOOD OFF THE CHARTS AMAZING! Ignore the negative reviews. They are not true. This place has THE best food we ate in all of our time in Venice. Dario is a very accommodating host. All of the waitresses were so attentive and kind. Our rooms albeit a bit small were clean, comfortable and so, so cute! The common area is adorable and useful. They leave us little cakes and fruit for breakfast with coffee, Tea and fresh water. All in all, our stay was so nice! Definitely would return just for the food if nothing else.

Clean rooms - very polite service - location very cozy, friendly and pleasant- nice short walk to the bus station. Food - one of the finest restoran in the area - it was worthy to drive from Croatia just to taste great cuisine - certainly I am coming back to taste it all from their Menu. Dario is top chef and host.

Amazing experience at trattoria boschetti ! We stayed there for a weekend and we were impressed by the quality of the food and the service ! The owner Dario and his lovely wife made us feel comfortable and welcomed from day 1! The location is just 10 min drive from Venice city center ideal for who has family and doesn’t want to struggle in the caos of the city …. Thank u so much Dario can t wait to come back to visit u again… love from Sydney

Stayed here the night before our flight the next day. The location was perfect and much better than an airport hotel. Only 10 minutes to car rental return! We arrived at 19:50 and check-in was easy and speedy. We then had a delicious dinner in the Trattoria. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very accommodating. We had two rooms for 6 people including 2 adults and 4 kids. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Pastry and coffee for breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere of being surrounded by a vie yard was great to wake up to.

Great restaurant and small hotel. The owner is a fantastic host. When flying from Venice I will definitely stay here again!
